
Ariana Pirzadeh holds a MS in Addiction Research and Clinical Health, focusing on Neuroscience and Neurosomatics, from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She also earned a BS in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and has experience as a Research Program Assistant at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, along with certification as a Neurosomatic Practitioner.
Ariana applies her rich and robust background to her work at NRFi. On the research side, she leads and co-leads our Neurosomasotensory Processing and Interception in Binge Eating Disorder (BED) Research Project Teams, and contributes to our Mapping Environmental Factors in BED Team. We are excited for the upcoming submission of her co-first-author manuscripts, planned for Spring 2025 (see full citations below).
Clinically, Ariana also contributes content to the NRFi Binge Eating Disorder textbook and workbook, as well as our Clinical Applications Series, which provides free educational and interventional resources for individuals facing binge eating disorder, eating disorders, and broader mental health disparities.
