Barbara Kalu is a pivotal member of the Researc Dissemination, Education & Outreach, Clinical Application, and Marketing, PR, & Social Media Teams at the NourishED Research Foundation.
As Research Ambassador & Dissemination Team Lead, Barbara manages NRFi's Instagram, Facebook, and X.com accounts and leadsNRFi's educational outreach campaigns, which are responsible for reaching >5,000 new individuals per post, with >500 engaging interactions per post (as assessed through likes, follows, shares, and comments).
Barbara is also an invaluable Resarch Assistant and Contributor, and we look forward to her co-first author and co-author publications, which are planned for submission in Winter, 2025 (citaitons below).
Barbara is an MS candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins School of Education and has her BA in Psychology from Boston University.
She also has extensive experience in assisting underserved medical professionals through the JUMP program and managing the Community Ambassador Program at Boston University Spark!.
