Dr. David A. Wiss is an expert registered dietician nutritionist and PhD researcher. His work focusses on the intersections between disordered eating, trauma and adversity, overweight and obesity, substance-related addictive disorders (including “food/UPF /sugar addiction”), and other mental health outcomes, especially in soceoeconomically disadvantaged individuals. Dr. Wiss is deeply commited to improving clinical health outcomes and tools through contributions like the Disordered Eating Food Addiction Nutrition Guide (DEFANG).
