NourishED Research Foundation (NRFi) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on using eating disorder and social justice research to advance our understanding, prevention, treatment, and living with eating disorders and the social justice issues that contribute to them. We prioritize community-based research, patient narratives, and equal-access treatment options for eating disorders.

Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Research Assistant at NourishED Research Foundation. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and assisting with preparation & submission of manuscripts as well as conference posters and abstracts. They will contribute to ongoing research projects and collaborate with the research team.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and interpretation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in research methodology and conducting research (with preference for those interested in mixed-methods amd qualitative human subjects research in the field of eating disorders)
• Familiarity with human subjects research and protocols
• Willingness to undergo training in human subjects research to ve added to research protocols.
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze data
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Understanding of and passion for eating disorder research and social justice issues
• Experience with statistical analysis software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, sociology, public health)
