NRFi's Mindfulness & Meditation Skills Courses

Meditation & Mindfulness Tools Course

This is a donation-based course offered by Mỹ Hiếu Lê, MS, a Buddhust nun with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University, focusing on Contemplative Buddhist-Informed Pschology and Pychotherapy.


The course includes twelve 30 - 60-min sessions that cover the following topics:

  1. The Body: Mindfulness, Stability, & Clarity (Sessions 1 - 3).
  2. The Mind: Mindfulness, Stabilty, & Clarity (Sessions 4 - 6).
  3. Emotions: Mindfulness, Stability, & Clarity (Sessions 7 - 9).
  4. External Phenomenon: Mindfulness, Stability, & Clarity (Sessions 10 - 12).


Each session will include:

  • A contextual framing of the focus tool.
  • A contemplative (reflective) exercise.
  • An experiential exercise (practicing the tool). 
  • A contemplative exercise (reflection on the tool practice experience).
  • A "homework" invitation that aims to practice simple application of these tools in your daily life! 


Some of the Tools You Will Learn, Practice, & Access Include:

  • Mindfulness Tools to support continuous learning and applying new insights to work and daily life.
  • Grounding Practices to support stability and self-regulation.
  • Vipassana Meditation to support "insight" and "clear seeing."
  • Psychoeducation to provide context for learning, applying, and self-knowing.


The course will be offered in a variety of formats, to accommodate a vareity of learning preferences, styles, and schedules. All course formats contain the same basic content. The formats are as follows:

  1. The Online Asynchronous Course Offering enables you to move through the 12-course series at your own pace and on your own time. 
  2. The Online Synchronous (Live) Group Course enables you to receive more personalized, one-on-one support from Mỹ Hiếu Lê, MS, with clinical supervision from our Clinical Team Lead, Angela Nauss, MS, LMFT. 
  3. The course is also available in-person in Group and Indivdiualied formats upon reqeust. Email Dr. Bray (brenna@nourishedrfi.org) for ore information on timing and pricing.

The Live Online Course provides twelve (12) weekly one-hour online trauma-informed group therapy sessions that enable you to move through the 12-week series with weekly group support and clinical support.


All NRFi Mindfulness Courses are lead by Mỹ Hiếu Lê, MS, with clinical supervision provided by Angela Nauss, LMFT and NRFi Director Brenna Bray, PhD.


Three course sections will be offered: Fridays at 6p MST; Saturdays at 5p MST; and Sundays at 3p MST. Courses will begin August 1-3.


All course participants receive access to the online asynchronous course content.
